So sorry I didn't write a book review yesterday, it was because I had lots of camps and I was reading this book! Be Wary of The Silent Woods (fiction, graphic novel) is written by Svetlana Chmakova. Ailis and her cousin Na'ya are both weirns. Whats a weirn? I didn't know either, but the book explained it to me: A weirn is a witch born with a demon guardian spirit bound to them for life, an Astral. They live in a town in New England, called Laitham. Humans, night things, werewolves, weirns, etc. Na'ya and Ailis commonly known as "the looser cousins" take a short cut to school. Also, I forgot to mention that they sleep in the day and go to school at night. Any way, there is a creepy mansion there. What is it doing there? Read the book to find out!
